Description

A stunning and rare pair of burr walnut ormolu mounted antique open bookcases. Each with a rectangular top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut and a cast ormolu gadrooned moulded edge. The frieze having a central cast ormolu applique above the adjustable walnut shelves. The pilaster ends with beautiful cast ormolu mounts. Supported on walnut veneered breakfront plinths again with cast ormolu mouldings and mounts. The ends are also veneered in beautifully figured walnut circa 1860

Dimensions: 47" wide x 12" deep x 36" high (shelves 8" deep)

Condition: Stunning condition, traditionally re-polished in our workshops
