Japanese Open Bookcase - Vibrant Artwork - c1890

A very attractive ebonized Japanese open bookcase presented in superb condition.

Offering the opportunity to be used free-standing for the display of ornaments or books.

The piece is pleasingly crafted and in lovely order. Rising through a single lower tier, into a pair of staggered interim shelves and terminating with an upper shelf with bobbin turnings at the corners.

Throughout there are quality hand painted Japanese images.

Overall a very desirable small item of furniture. A classic antique which offers tremendous style as well as being a functional item - delivered ready for the home.
