Antique 19th Century French Walnut Glazed Bookcase C1880

Description

Antique 19th Century French Walnut Glazed Bookcase and dating from aorund 1880. It has a polished walnut top with moulded edge above two glazed doors and with five original and adjustable adjustable shelves ( painted white to the underneath)and stands on a plinth base with bracket feet joined by a shaped frieze.

Measures: 61" high x 11.1/2" deep x internal depth 9" x 38" wide

A very nice 19th Century French Walnut Bookcase ( the photographs unfortunately do not do it justice) and in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the walnut oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
