Antique Victorian Mahogany Compactum Wardrobe C1880

Lovely Antique Victorian Mahogany Compactum Wardrobe and dating from aorund 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a serpentine shaped top with deep moulded edge and carved cartouche to the centre and carved scrollwork to each end. This is above the cornice top with moulded cross banded frieze and to one side thyere is a full length shaped bevelled mirrored door with carved scroll work to the top and base and with original brass handle adn with internal hanging rail and original hooks. To the other side there are two small fielded panelled doors carved to the top and base and with original handle and above an open space to the back of which is a bevelled mirror and with a carved scroll and lattice work frieze above three graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original brass handles. There is a deep long mahogany drawer to the base again being mahogany lined and with original handles and it stands on ogee bracket feet. Separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 83" high x 22" deep x internal depth 19" x 61" wide
