Antique English Heart Shaped Sterling Silver Box - Reynold's Angels - 1898

Description

A charming sterling silver box in a romantic and highly sought-after heart shape, measuring 2 1/2" x 2" and standing 1" tall.

This quality box features the ever-popular Reynold's Angels to the top of the box with a beautiful rope edge framing the heart shape. The lid fits perfectly, nice and firm, also with a perfectly working hinge. The interior has a lavishly gilded finish.

The underside has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1898, making this a true Victorian example.

Excellent condition, weighing 1.23 Troy Ounces or 38.5 Grams.
