C19th Regency period rosewood Canterbury. Well-figured timber and good colour ,with unusual simulated rosewood base section .Bears original paper trade label inside drawer " J.CRANSTON jnr RINGWOOD" Dished or 'boat' shaped top with integral carrying handle, standing on elegant turned legs with original gilded brass castors. Good original condition , old brass knobs to drawer may be replacements .
