Description

A wonderful and quite charming novelty cruet set dating to the late nineteenth century, c.1890.

All three wheels actually operate so that the cruet could be pushed around the dinner table.

The three cut crystal pieces consist of an open salt, a pepper pot and mustard pot, all three with silver plated fittings and all without damage.

The piece was completely black when we acquired it, our silversmith has done a wonderful job re-polishing it to gleam. Unmarked, the set remains in superb condition. 8 3/4" including handle x 3 3/4" (max) wheel to wheel.
