Rare Group of Three Staffordshire Figures - Italian Independence Circa 1860

Description

This Rare Group of Three Antique Staffordshire Figures date from circa 1860.

They represent Garibaldi's major role in the Independence of Italy.

The central Figure bears the impressed title GARIBALDI AT HOME. This Figure Stands approximately 10 inches (25.5 cm) high.

The Pair of Figures entitled NAPIER & GARIBALDI are both standing in full uniform by the side of their horses. These Figures are approximately 9 inches (23 cm) high.

The condition of the three Figures is good. There is just a tiny nick to the brim of Garibaldi's straw hat (Garibaldi at Home) and a thin glaze chip to the edge of the hilt of Garibaldi's sword (Garibaldi). There are a few minor paint flakes.

There is no restoration.

A wonderful group of Antique Staffordshire Figure. Quite rare to have all three together. As can be seen from the photographs they form a very impressive group.
