Pair of Framed Hand-tinted Georgian Nelson Prints Circa 1805

Description

This Pair of Hand-Tinted Georgian Prints are entitled 'Ad Ld Nelsons Funeral Car' and 'Ad Ld Nelson Funeral Barge'.

They date from circa 1805.

The wooden frames have a metal facing on the front. The glass, which is attractively dimpled, on the Print of the Barge has lost its two top corners and the part of the print which has been exposed has stained. This has also happened to the Funeral Car print to the top left corner. There is wear to the frames.

Height: 5.5 inches (14 cm)

Width: 7.75 inches (19.5 cm)
