An impressive mahogany mercury barometer. A 12" silvered dial with fine engraving. Flame mahogany veneers with a carved base section. A mercury thermometer with convex glass. Signed to the dial 'J.L Casartelli, 43 Market Street, Manchester'.

He is recorded in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working from 1852.
