The watch is the very desirable calibre 266 manual wind movement, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.
This is an extremely rare model in as much as it it classed as an oversize or jumbo with the case measuring 37.5mm in diameter excluding the crown whereas the normal size case is 34mm and to find this in an 18ct rose gold case is quite amazing.
It has its original unmarked dial with the sub seconds dial, rose gold hands and baton markers. It has new Omega rose gold crown and a genuine rose gold plated Omega buckle. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in exceptional condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The serial number dates this watch to 1952-53.
It comes complete with a new premium quality brown leather strap and a new presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
Overall this watch is in outstanding original condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.
The watch has been fully serviced by Alan Williams MBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
This watch is currently undergoing its final testing and will be ready in 3 weeks, however you are more than welcome to reserve it.
