Fine Victorian Copeland Design Registered Footbath 1859

Description

This Fine Copeland Footbath bears a printed Victorian Design Registration Lozenge for 1859.

There is an impressed 'Copeland' mark to the underside of the footrim and a handpainted Pattern Number D979 R.

Dimensions:

Height: 7.75 inches (19.75 cm)

Width: 19 inches (48.25 cm) handle to handle

Depth: 13.5 inches (34.5 cm)

Condition:

The condition is good. There are no cracks or restoration. There is a tiny nick to the footrim, some grazing to the glaze on the top rim and some wear to the gilt decoration.
