Case is of waisted shape, profusely decorated with flowing foliage which incorporates a grotesque mask. Substantial hairy paw feet support the clock.
The dial is large and is cream enamel on copper with brass hands.
The French movement is of excellent quality and has been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. We have replaced the missing pendulum. The movement strikes on bell and runs for 8 days. Click the movie below to hear the gong and watch the clock running!
Condition of the case is very good with no losses. The finish of the brass is bright and clean. Enamel dial is also in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. The original glass has a very light scratch which isn't noticeable.
Complete with pendulum and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
