This is a stunning large oil painting of two shire horses pulling a tree trunk, guided by two field hands down a country lane. Chicken and ducks in the fore front and the farm dog looking on in a typical English scene from the period. The painting shows so much character and emotion.

Wonderful quality from the 19th Century. Signed S J Clark.

Stunning large size of 58 inches x 38 inches to include the beautiful gilt frame.
