Victorian Silver Tea Set.

19th century
Description

Early Victorian silver three piece tea set; comprising of tea pot, sugar bowl and cream jug. Each piece of circular, bellied form with foliate engraved pattern to the body. Resting on four-legged cast feet with a matching cast border to the rim, gilt interior to the sugar and cream, with ivory insulators to the tea pot handle.There is a monogramme to the cartouche of each piece. Wonderful quality and spot-on for the period.

London. 1842. Joseph Wilson.

Height of tea pot 20.5cm.
