Antique English Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Card Case by Deakin & Francis

Description

A very handsome Victorian sterling silver card case, with a very stylish Art Nouveau design on both sides surrounding a central vacant cartouche.

The push button to one side is used top open the case, there is a sprung hinge which helps reveal the beautifully lined interior.

The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1893, together with the makers initials D & F for the well renowned Deakin & Francis. Excellent condition and a good heavy case measuring 4 1/8" x 2 7/8".
