Description

Antique Victorian Hall Seat, Settle, Monks Bench, This antique Victorian carved oak hall seat, settle, monks bench has a lovely carved back with three carved oak panelled scenes the centre panel of a tavern scene flanked either side by carved out door scenes the solid oak arms having wonderful carved lion type figures, the seat lifts for storage the front oak carved panels having carving of the green man these are flanked either side by carved decoration thus is all supported by a solid plinth base. Circa 1880
