A Late Victorian Six Arm Brass Chandelier

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a beautifully detailed and elegant six arm gilded brass chandelier dating from the late 19thC to early 20thC .

The gilding has reacted with the flash in the camera making the light look very bright and gold in colour, in reality it is a rich darker colour - more along the lines of Photograph 3. We will try and improve the photographs very soon.

It has a long brass central 'ribbon' design column going up to a ceiling fitting, and from the central gallery, six scroll arms hold up candle style lights.

It has recently been rewired for the UK market, and measures 32" (82cm) in height, and approximately 28" (71cm) in width.

Delivery within easy reach of the M25 possible and included in the price.

It can be viewed in the Berkshire area, or arrangements can be made for viewing and collection in Surrey.

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
