Rising from serpentine bracket feet the chest offers fine proportion. A '2 over 3' drawer configuration is flanked by side-bars of cross banded veneer work with frieze over displaying further mahogany flame veneer, a central cartouche and boxwood stringing.

The upper surface presents in oak with a crossbanded mahogany veneer top the perimeter.
It is very solidly crafted throughout and wears a fine patina.
A classic English antique chest with huge charm, history and warmth - a rare find and a perfect example for any room.
