Antique 19th Century Oak & Ebony Marble Washstand C1890

Antique Victorian Oak & Ebony Marble Washstand and dating from aorund 1890. It has an ebony top and side rails to the tiled splash back with turned finials to each end and with fabulous original Art Nouveau tiles. It has a moulded edge to the white marble top above three fielded drawers each of which are oak lined with original brass handles and edged with ebony. It stands on ring trned legs on castors joined by turned stretchers and with an oak and ebony pot board.

Measures: 39" high to splash back x 30" high to top x 24" deep x 48" wide

A superb and most striking washstand and with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the oak and in very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
