Set of Georgian Old Sheffield Plate Sauce Tureens.

Description

Suite of four Georgian Old Sheffield Plate sauce tureens; of rectangular form, each resting on four foliate design feet with glorious junctions to the plain body. The covers have gadroon borders and detachable foliate pattern handles. Bodies and covers are all crested in the silver inserts. There is one ancient repair to a handle of one tureen,which is absolutely in character, otherwise these are top class. A real eyefull!
