Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The desk is made in Mahogany and figured Walnut, the drawer fronts have a reeded moulding with a very attractive scalloped bottom edge to the top drawers, the doors have a stylised floral design carved on them and the handles are solid brass Arts and Crafts style. The desk top has a new tan coloured antique effect tooled leather and is in good sound condition.
The desk stands 31.5” high it is 56” long and 42” deep at the deepest point, the knee hole measures 24” high and 19.5”wide, and dismantles completely for transportation
