Description

A wonderful large Victorian dinner gong made by the top-notch silversmith, Walker & Hall with one of the corner mounts impressed with the famous flag mark labelled W & H.

The gong is supported by a single horn set in silver plated mounts. The black cord has been replaced, the other original piece was on it's last legs, this is ready now to last another 100 years. The gong comes complete with it's original strike sitting in two cradle supports to the front of the gong.

Superb condition, with the solid English Oak base measuring 15" x 6 1/2" and stands 14 1/2" tall.
