Description

A French 'Vineyard' Clock in a metal case. Gilt grape leaf and vine decorations to the case with a red ground. An engine turned dial bezel with convex glass. A convex enamel dial with 'moon' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Silk suspension pendulum and outside countwheel. Circa 1850.
