A Satinwood & Brass Mounted Late Victorian Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A satinwood, ebony & brass mounted Late Victorian desk by Druce and Co of London. Having a rectangular satinwood top with a brass moulded edge and an inset green gilt and blind tooled writing surface. The pedestals each having four oak lined graduating drawers with the original beautiful cast brass handles. The drawer fronts, sides and back are are veneered in beautifully figured satinwood with ebony mouldings, supported on shaped ogee feet, complete with label "Druce & Co" circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: 48" wide x 25.5" deep x 30" high (knee hole 19" wide x 24" high)

Condition: This desk is in beautifully restored condition, replacement leather inset
