A Large Chippendale Style Country House Settee

1900 - 1920
Description

A fantastic Chippendale Style large Country House Settee. Having a shaped and padded back with generous arms of a large scale. With three feather filled double sided cushions, newly re-upholstered in a pale blue and ivory silk damask. The solid mahogany frame beautifully carved with shell and floral detail. The four front cabriole legs wonderfully carved and terminating in whorl feet circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 36" high x 88" long arm to arm x 80" seat length

Condition: This settee is in beautiful condition, the frame is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered in a pale blue and Ivory silk damask by a traditional upholsterer in our workshops. The feather filled cushions having new feather inserts
