Pair Brass Mirrored Girondales

19th century
Description

A pair of fine quality and heavy brass mirrored girondales with three candle holders on each.

They measure 50cm in length and 25cm across and have the figure of what appears to be Neptune at the top and base of each.

At some stage a drill hole has been made in each drip pan, probably with a view to wiring them for electricity but barely noticeable. We have left them as is in case the buyer has the same intention.

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
