Description

A Magnificent Set of Bronze Imperial Measures, from Imperial half bushel down to Imperial Quarter Gill. The larger measures with shaped square bracket handles. All engraved for 'COUNTY OF DURHAM' and dated '1879', with numbering for '1624' and each with numerous verification / weights and measures marks.

Half Bushel Height 7" Diameter 18"

Quarter Gill Height 2 1/4" Diameter 1 1/2"

Very heavy and with good crisp lettering and markings.
