Victorian Brass Chandelier with Griffins

19th century
Description

Circa 1860-1910, this heavy brass chandelier has fabulous details throughout, with brass Griffins standing upright on the lovely scroll arms.

There are six arms, and the central column is in three sections tapering with a brass ball finial. The brass has been polished but it hasn't been lacquered.

It measures 68cm in length and 72cm wide and weighs approx 16-17 kgs, and is excellent quality brass work.

This has been rewired for the UK, and it can be viewed in the Berkshire area.

Delivery can be arranged within the M25 areas, or collection from a mutually convenient point can be arranged.

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
