Antique Victorian Satinwood Clothes Linen Press C1880

Superb Antique Victorian Satinwood Clothes or Linen Press and dating form around 1880. It has a deep overhung cornice top above a rolled and moulded frieze and two shaped panelled doors with original brass handles and escutcheons with working key. Internally there are removable shelves and to each side there are mahogany carved acanthus leaf corbal supports. To the base there are two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with brass key escutcheons and original turned mahogany knob handles with mother of pearl insets. It is moulded to the base and stands on squat bun feet.

The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

Measures: 77" high x 22.5" deep x internal depth 17" x 51" wide
