An excellent pair of quality bentwood chairs by the famous manufacturer Thonet. Dating from c1930.
This Thonet bentwood classic design is hugely attractive, robust, and offers practicality with these chairs being ideal for daily use. The generous 47cm seat height make the chairs suitable for kitchen/dining purposes and the lightness means that they are easy to move around.
Standing upon swept legs with ring stretcher the form flows into the triple stick back. The seat displays a full embossed central cartouche with peacock overtones.
A wonderful pair of original Thonet bentwood chairs that will make a lovely addition to any home or commercial location.
