19th C 6-Branch Hanging Light

Description

A 19th C hanging light, the 6 branch light with a lower section decorated with acanthus leaves to the underneath and a lower finial, the frieze of the lower section with acanthus scrolls and 6 deeply scrolled and square shaped arms emanating from the frieze, each decorated with scrolls and leaves and with drip pans and 'faux' candleholders, this lower section with a stepped upper portion and leading to further foliate decoration and a central orb with similar frieze decoration, below a tear dropped upper section with bold acanthus leaf relief, a hanging hoop with alternating circular and oval links and cap complete this hanging light.

Great size and crisply decorated!

H: 27 1/2" to hoop

Description
