Christian Davies Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The lower section having an egg and dart and gadrooned frieze above a wonderful baroque style carved apron. The whole raised on six breganza tapering supports, each with carved winged cherub masks and trailing gesso harebells united by a double X framed under tier with twin "flaming urn" carved detail. The base with the original silver gilt and polychrome detail throughout circa 1900-1910
Dimensions: 40" wide x 19" deep Stand (Cabinet 17" deep) x 59" high
Condition: This cocktail cabinet is in original Country House condition, minor gesso loss to the front left hand edge (see picture). Minor wear to paint and gilding commensurate with age and use.
