Antique 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer Box Charles 11 C1681

Description

Lovely Antique 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer Box and dating from the Riegn of King Charles 11 and the time of the Restoration Period c1680. It has a three plank top above a carved frieze with date of 1681 to the centre and with theee carved lozonge panels and lunette frieze to the base with carved frieze supports. It has panelled sides and is hand and peg joined.

Measures: 25" high x 18.5" deep x 41" wide

A Lovely 17th Century Oak Chest and in very good condition with a wonderful colour and original patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
