Perfect for that special book, perhaps a prayer book or smaller bible. It would also look perfect in the kitchen for recipe cards or again a smaller cookery book.
There are three shaped supports at the front which is where the book would sit, these are fairly shallow so would lend itself to a reasonably slim book, the one shown measures 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" while closes and sits on narrow shelf.
Beautifully polished to gleam and in excellent condition. The front measures 10" x 8" tall.
