The attractive domed top and front are both decorated with highly collectible Tunbridge work.

During the 1830's James Burrows developed the tessellated mosaic technique which became the most well known type of Tunbridge Ware.
The lid opens to reveal a double compartment interior with lids decorated with a fine Ebony and Boxwood stringing. Complete with a working tasselled key, this little gem remains in superb condition. c.1850.
