Antique Art Nouveau Mirror Fronted Mahogany Double Wardrobe Armoire C1890

Antique Art Nouveau Mahogany Double Wardrobe Armoire and dating from around 1890. It has an Architectural shaped pedament top above a deep cornice with mahogany frieze and with two panelled doors each having a carved frieze over a long bevelled edge mirror and with original art nouveau style handle. Internally there is a brass rail and original hooks and to the base there are two short drawers over one long drawer all of which are mahogany lined with original handles and it stands on a plinth base on shaped bracket feet.The body separates from the base for ease of transporting.

Measures: 83" high x 21" deep x internal depth 18.5" x 51" wide

A lovely stylised double wardrobe armoire in very good condition with a wonderful colour and original patination to the mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
