Antique William 1v Small Mahogany Chest of Drawers Apprentice Piece C1830

Superb Antique William 1V Small Mahogany Chest of Drawers or Apprentice Piece and Dating from aorund 1830. This is a lovely collectors piece and it has a rounded edge to the top above a deep frieze with original lock and key that opens the raised lid revealing a secret well to the top with a lidded compartment to each side. There are two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are pine lined with ivory escutcheons and original cut glass handles. It has a moulded plinth and stands on bun feet.

Measures: 22" high x 21" wide x 11" deep

A Superb Collectors Chest of Drawers which would make a lovely specimen / jewellery chest and in very good condition with a wonderful colour and original patination to the mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
