A Matched Set of 8 Lancashire Spindle Back Dining Chairs

Description

A matched set of 8 Lancashire spindle-back Ash and Elm dining chairs. The set comprising of a pair of carver armchairs and six stand chairs. Each chair having turned spindle-backs above the shaped top rail and with rush seats. Supported on typical turned front supports with double H stretchers and a bobbin turned front rail. These chairs are of wonderful colour and patination. The seats having been re-rushed by a traditional craftsman circa 1850-1860

Dimensions: Armchairs 43" high x 17" deep x 22" wide (seat 18" high) Stand Chair 37" high x 16" deep x 18" wide (seat 17" high)

Condition: This set of chairs are in excellent original condition
