A handsome & rare vintage English Nottingham style fishing reel, made from turned solid Mahogany with English cast brass. There is a star-back configuration on the reverse side with a ratchet.

Tactile and highly decorative in excellent condition. Signed Milward's in two places and "Made In England" dating this one to around 1920. The wood has a diameter measuring 4 1/4" x 3 3/4" thick (at max).
