Description

A very slim and small English 'Grandmother' clock of Georgian design. A dark mahogany case with shell inlay to the hood pediment and trunk door. Turned hood columns and surmounted by and eagle and flanked by 2 cherubs. An arched brass dial with corner spandrels and silvered chapter ring. A 'Tempus Fugit' boss to the arch. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism striking the hours on a bell.
