This fine and beautifully constructed victorian mahogany collectors cabinet originally housed a collection of british birds eggs.

The 36 graduated drawers range between a .75 inch usable internal depth to a maximum 4.25 inches internal usable depth. This is matched on both columns of drawers and gives a superb and extensive capacity.

This cabinet was originally designed with oology as its purpose but now would be admirable for a host of collecting pursuits.

The cabinet is in beautiful condition and has a good lock with two keys. The doors are glazed with thick, deeply bevelled glass. The cabinet is constructed of finely figured honduras mahogany and the drawers all retain their original turned rosewood knobs.
