A Good Antique Walnut Folio Stand

Description

A good victorian walnut folio stand with silver plated patent cantilever supports.

This folio stand came originally from one of the larger national museums and is in original conditon.

It is fashioned in walnut and has turned and carved legs. The original glass is still fitted and surrounded by gilded slip. There is a lock to the top and the hinged cantilever legs are of a patent design and appear to be silver plated.

This is a rare item and it is unusual to find one in original condition.
