Description

A charming pair Antique English binoculars, compact in size and what makes these very special is the top-notch maker, Negretti & Zambra, often described as the most famous instrument makers in the world.

Made from brass, which has all been professionally re-polished to gleam, they are clad with a black leather.

The eye pieces are marked Negretti Opticians London, it is hard to read but it is engraved.

They come with their original leather case lined in a vibrant amethyst coloured silk and velet, these cases are always worn and fragile, but have done their job over the last 120 years.

They measure 4" at widest, are 3 1/2" tall expanding to 5". Optics in good working order.
