Description

A Beautiful Mahogany Inlaid Edwardian Period Pedestal Desk. Having a rectangular mahogany top with satinwood and ebony cross banded detail and a green leather inset writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. Each pedestal having four graduating oak lined drawers again with satinwood cross banded detail and with beautifully cast brass handles. The fronts of the drawers are veneered in beautiful flamed mahogany, the whole raised on a mahogany plinth with inset brass and porcelain castor's. This desk is beautifully finished all round so it can be used as free standing circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 54" wide x 29" deep x 30" high (knee hole 24" wide x 24" high)

Condition: This desk is in beautifully restored condition, replacement leather inset
