Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Originally a candlestick with the wonderful Queen of Diamonds design, it has now been converted into a table lamp by a fully qualified electrician and are ready for immediate use. It also has a brand new shade in a pleated cream colour which comes with the lamp or a green one can be fitted if you prefer.
It is in excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of genuine Victorian pieces.
It measures 17.5 inches in height including the shade, is 4 inches square.
This is a beautiful genuine lamp and not to be confused with reproductions.
