Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Originally candlesticks with the wonderful classic Georgian design, they have now been converted into a table lamps by a fully qualified electrician and are ready for immediate use. They also come with brand new green coloured shades.
They are in excellent condition with the brightness of the solid brass yet retaining the patina which you would expect of genuine Victorian pieces, one a slight hole which is photographed (bearing in mind our photographs are highly magnified) but this is part of their charm for a piece which is nearly 200 years old and certainly does not detract from them at all
They measure 16 inches in height including the shades, the base is 3.5 inches.
This is a beautiful genuine pair of lamps and not to be confused with reproductions.
