Pair of George lll Chairs - Oak - c1790

A pleasing duo of English Country chairs in Oak dating from c1790.

With classic Hepplewhite period 'camel back' and typical Chippendale lower section both offer an interesting splat and display great charm and superb proportion.

Featuring an original solid seat pad they present good colour and patina.

With a seat heights of 48/46cm (18.9/18.1") and excellent construction they are suitable for regular use.

Overall an excellent pair of chairs which will make a lovely addition to any setting. They are in good solid order and ready to give another 200+ years of service. As seen in the images one has an old contraction split across the seat but this does not affect the use of the piece.
