Typical Bristol style case made from choice mahogany, inlaid throughout with boxwood stringing
Beautiful quality arched japanned dial, with rocking ship automata to the arch and finely painted coastal scenes to the corners

Well made 8 day movement striking the hours on a single bell.
Finely fretted original polished brass hands.
Matching cast iron weights and cast iron pendulum bob with gilded floral decoration.
A very good quality clock constructed of wonderfully figured timber complimented by a well executed painted dial.
