The superb flame mahogany case is in excellent condition with box stringing to both the sides and front.It is beautifully french polished with a very clean, deep patina.It is fitted with gilded brass, lion head carrying handles to the sides.
The clock stands on 4 adjustable brass bun feet.
The 8" convex silvered dial is engraved with black Roman numerals and it has a heavy, cast brass bezel and convex glass. The beautifully crafted hands are original to the clock as are all other parts.
It is very, VERY, rare to find a clock that is made to this standard of engineering.
The clock has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff.
